Visa “Tap To Pay” Merchant Film

Director/DP: Tyler Manson

Caruso Company partnered with Visa and agency Made Studios to produce “Tap To Pay,” a film highlighting the transformative impact of Visa Tap to Phone for merchants of all sizes. Directed and shot by Tyler Manson and produced by Brian Benson, the project illustrates how this technology is reshaping the payments landscape by putting secure, seamless digital payment capabilities directly into the hands of merchants.

The film opens with a focus on the competitive advantage payments can bring to businesses, emphasizing that simplicity, speed, and accessibility are critical to modern commerce. Visa Tap to Phone allows merchants to accept payments directly on their smartphones, eliminating the need for additional hardware or costly infrastructure. This democratization of payment technology empowers small and medium-sized businesses to provide the same smooth, digital experiences that larger enterprises can offer, leveling the playing field.

Consumers benefit from increased convenience, with more ways to pay—via card, smartphone, or smartwatch—available at more locations than ever before. The film underscores Visa’s commitment to security: each merchant smartphone is verified for safety and compliance with every transaction, and no customer card credentials are stored on devices. Payments are processed through Visa’s trusted global network, maintaining the highest standards of reliability and security.

“Tap To Pay” combines clear, informative narration with visuals of real merchants seamlessly integrating the technology into their daily operations. The film demonstrates how Visa Tap to Phone not only modernizes transactions but also accelerates commerce, enhances customer experiences, and strengthens trust between merchants and consumers.

Visa Tap to Phone represents a shift in the way businesses interact with customers, moving commerce forward and ensuring that every payment moment counts.
