ServiceNow AstraZeneca Customer Film

Director: Tyler Manson

Caruso Company produced a customer story film for ServiceNow featuring AstraZeneca, directed by Tyler Manson. Filming took place across AstraZeneca locations in Cambridge and London, UK, capturing a range of environments from research spaces to offices and operational settings.

The film focuses on how AstraZeneca is using ServiceNow’s platform to streamline internal processes and support the development of new medicines. As part of that effort, AstraZeneca is harnessing the power of ServiceNow AI to enhance efficiency and return valuable time to its teams. The broader goal is ambitious: to deliver 20 new medicines by 2030, providing hope to patients worldwide.

The story is built around interview-driven voiceover, combining perspectives from across the organization to outline both the scale of the challenge and the role of technology in addressing it. A central theme is time—how reducing inefficiencies can directly impact the pace and effectiveness of the work.

Previously, many routine processes relied on manual systems, with tasks such as materials requests requiring significant time to complete. With ServiceNow, these workflows are consolidated into a single platform, reducing turnaround times and improving consistency across teams. The film ties these changes to measurable outcomes, including faster onboarding, increased efficiency, and the ability to better apply data and AI tools across the organization.

Production was designed to work alongside AstraZeneca’s day-to-day operations. A still photography unit operated in parallel with the film crew, capturing additional assets while maintaining alignment in tone and environment across both teams.

The piece connects operational improvements to broader impact, showing how time saved across systems and teams can be redirected toward research, development, and collaboration—supporting AstraZeneca’s efforts to bring new medicines to market.
