Director Tyler Manson captured four global small business stories for Facebook. The unique project employed still photography. Caruso Company lead by Director Tyler Manson collaborated with Facebook and a team of award-winning photographers. Manson photographed subjects in D.C. and Los Angeles, while famed documentary photographers lynsey Addario and Mauricio Lima worked in London and in Sao Palo respectively. Each of the small businesses (SMB’s) showed signs of recovery from the impact of COVID-19. But many SMBs continue to report facing challenging operating conditions — this is especially true for women- and minority-led businesses. The sales environment and labor market are improving for some operational SMBs, although conditions remain challenging for many. See our work and read more here.
